The inspiration to begin this piece came late one evening. It was a spontaneous idea that sketched quickly, always my sign that it is a piece I will complete in full.
This piece was inspired by a trip to a meandering spring I found on a trip to Rose Valley, in Illawarra Region of New South Wales. Inspired by my fascination for water reflections and the healing nature of water.
Whenever I look at the finished piece I am transported to sitting on the bank under the trees. It is soothing and feeds my fascination for water reflections and the healing nature of water.
